Questions, Answered
Straight answers in plain English.
How much does a bail bond cost?
Florida sets the premium at 10% of the total bond amount, with a $100 minimum — and that's per charge, not per case. Example: if your loved one has two charges, one at $5,000 and one at $1,500, the premiums are $500 + $150 = $650 total. The premium is non-refundable.
Does the defendant have to see a judge before bonding out?
Usually no. In most cases the bond amount is set during initial booking using the Florida bond schedule and the defendant can bond out right away. The major exception is domestic violence — under Florida Statute §741.2901, a DV defendant must appear before a judge before any bond can be set or posted.
How fast will my loved one be released?
Release at TGK typically takes 12–24 hours from when the bond is posted. Smaller jails in Broward, Palm Beach, and Monroe are often faster.
Do you write immigration bonds?
No. Faroy Bail Bonds does not write immigration or ICE bonds. We handle criminal state and federal bonds only.
Do you take payment plans?
Yes, for qualifying clients. Call us and we'll talk it through honestly.
